Residence Chengan, Flic en Flac

Set on the west coast of Mauritius, Résidence Chengan is a self-catering bungalow in a quiet residential street of Flic en Flac, just 5 minutes from the beach. It sleeps up to 4 guests across 2 bedrooms and comes with a shared swimming pool and a furnished veranda.

Flic en Flac beach is one of the longest and calmest stretches of sand on the island: protected by the reef, shallow, lined with casuarina trees, and known for its sunsets. A supermarket, several restaurants and a bar are all within walking distance, so you can settle in without needing the car every day.

The bungalow is fully equipped for longer stays: a complete kitchen, a dining table for six, a spacious living room, air conditioning in the bedrooms, Wi-Fi, a washing machine and free on-site parking. The bathroom has both a whirlpool bathtub and a separate shower.

Maximum occupancy

Welcome. The residence is a calm, family-friendly environment. Children must be supervised at all times around the swimming pool.

Pets
Not allowed.

Smoking
Not permitted inside the bungalow. Smoking is welcome on the veranda.

Quiet hours
This is a residential neighbourhood and the pool area is shared. We ask guests to keep noise to a minimum after 10 pm.

Parties and events
Not permitted.

Swimming pool
The pool is unsupervised and shared with the other homes of the residence. Use is at your own risk. Please shower before entering and avoid glassware in the pool area.

Shared spaces
The veranda, courtyard and pool are common areas. We simply ask for the same courtesy you would show your own neighbours.

On departure
End-of-stay cleaning is included. We only ask that you leave the kitchen dishes washed and dispose of your rubbish in the bins provided.

Booking and payment
A deposit is required to confirm your booking. The balance is payable before arrival. Payment can be made by bank card or bank transfer.

Cancellation policy

Security deposit
A refundable security deposit may be requested on arrival, returned in full at check-out subject to inspection.

Damages
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents during their stay.

Identification
A valid passport or national ID is required for all guests at check-in, in line with Mauritian regulations for tourist accommodation.

Liability
The owners accept no liability for loss, theft or damage to guests’ personal belongings, nor for accidents occurring in the shared pool and courtyard areas.
